Role: Sessional Casual Trainer
Pay: $58 per hour + super

Key Institute is a forward-thinking leader in vocational training, dedicated to equipping students with real-world skills and meaningful learning experiences.

We are seeking casual Trainers and Assessors to support the delivery of upcoming programs in Northern Tasmania, with opportunities to work across the entire state. For regional programs, we provide accommodation and travel/meal allowances to support our trainers.

We're looking for trainers with genuine industry experience who are passionate about sharing their skills and making a difference in the lives of job seekers. This is your chance to help shape the workforce of tomorrow through practical, hands-on learning.

Each program runs for one week and involves delivering two units of competency, carefully chosen to introduce participants to a relevant industry sector. These programs are designed to create pathways to employment or further study and include a mix of theory, practical activities, and the potential for a work experience or practice day.

Do you have real knowledge and industry experience to train in the following areas?

Café worker - introduction to coffee making

Warehousing operations / Manual handling

Commercial cleaning

Hygienic practices for food safety

Disability support

Customer service

Retail sales

Business / Administration

Digital literacy

We strongly prefer applicants with Certificate III or IV industry qualifications and recent industry experience in the areas listed above.

To be successful you must have:

Current Training and Assessing Qualification:

TAE40110 + Upgrade units, or TAE40116 or equivalent,

Relevant industry experience and industry qualifications related to the training programs listed

Please do not apply unless you have the necessary TAE training qualifications.
