Registered Nurse – Permanent Fulltime

$39.00 - $50.00 per hour (dependent on experience) + super

Relocation assistance will be considered for successful applicants.

Lerwin is an 80-bed residential aged care facility owned and operated by the Rural City of Murray Bridge that has been serving the local community and surrounding areas for over 40 years.

We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses to join our passionate and committed team.

As a Registered Nurse you will provide person-centred care to your residents, ensuring a safe environment within the facility and applying your clinical skills to improving their quality of life through activities that include:

Assess, plan and implement resident care within your scope, ensuring changes to care are communicated to the resident, staff and others as appropriate.

Consider physical, social and psychological requirements

Management of responsive behaviours

Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs

Promote and lead Person-centred Trauma Informed and Healing Aware care and services

Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met

Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members

Lead and supervise Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers in an assigned area.

Successful applicants will demonstrate

Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills

Sound understanding of gerontological nursing and dementia

Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.

Knowledge and understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Standards, as the pertaining to Nursing.

2 years minimum general nursing experience post-registration, preferably in residential or community aged care.

And will be able to provide evidence of:

Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and Australian work entitlements

NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or Nationally Coordinated Police Criminal History Check for Aged Care, or willingness to undertake

Covid Vaccination (min 3)
