About the role

Seahorse Aquatic Centre in Deeragun, QLD is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Swim Teacher to join our team on a casual basis. As a Swim Teacher, you will be responsible for providing top-quality swimming instruction to students of all ages and abilities, helping them develop their water safety skills and confidence in the pool.

What you'll be doing

Delivering structured, engaging swimming lessons to individuals and small groups

Assessing students' progress and tailoring lesson plans to their needs

Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment in the pool

Providing regular feedback and encouragement to help students achieve their goals

Monitoring and reporting on student progress, and communicating with parents as required

Ensuring all safety and operational procedures are followed at all times

What we're looking for

A current Swimming Australia Swim Teacher qualification or equivalent - if not qualified we can train you

Demonstrated experience teaching swimming lessons to a range of ages and abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

A passion for helping people learn new skills and build confidence in the water

A current First Aid and CPR certificate

A Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
