Swim Coaches (Casual Positions Available)

We’re looking for up to two casual swim coaches to join our dynamic team across one of our five pool locations. You'll be working with young swimmers in a fun, supportive, and challenging environment, both in and out of the water.

As a coach, you'll be responsible for teaching the fundamentals of all four strokes, developing technique, and instilling strong cultural values within our squad programs. There are opportunities to coach independently or as part of our experienced coaching team, with mentoring and support available to help you grow your coaching career.

This role is ideal for:

Experienced swim teachers looking to step into a coaching role

Coaches with a swimming background seeking new challenges

Assistant coaches eager to lead their own junior program or work alongside a senior team

Learn to Swim Instructors

We’re also on the lookout for passionate, qualified, and reliable swim instructors who love working with children. Applicants must be committed to their rostered hours throughout the school term and holiday periods across our Learn to Swim programs.

Qualifications required or willing to obtain:

Coaching or Swim Teaching qualification (ASCTA, Swim Australia or AustSwim).

Working with Children Blue Card

Current CPR and First Aid

About you:

We are looking for candidates who consider themselves reliable and have a passion for swimming and teaching or coaching children. Plus good communication skills, creativity and enthusiasm are a must. You'd be working as part of a great team and would be able to attend the team activities we often plan throughout the year.

Our swimming programs operate from 3:00 p.m. until 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings from 8.00 a.m. till 11.00 a.m. There are also weekday mornings available also.

Plenty of parking and close to public transport. Plus, all staff members can swim in our adult squad for free!
