Belayr Resources is proud to partner with a major underground copper operation near Cobar, NSW, to recruit a capable and safety-driven Shift Supervisor. This is a rare opportunity to lead a newly developed ore body at one of Australia’s most established underground copper sites.

🛫 Roster: 14/14 FIFO (Brisbane/Sydney) or DIDO (Cobar Region)

You’ll lead your shift, managing crews, ensuring safe and productive mining practices, and driving results across the board. This role is critical to the success of a new mining area and provides an opportunity to shape both performance and crew culture.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise underground mining crews to achieve production targets safely

Uphold compliance with site safety procedures and statutory obligations

Build a high-performing team through coaching and positive leadership

Coordinate shift plans and work closely with technical services

Contribute to operational improvements and efficiency initiatives

Deliver accurate shift reports and handovers

🧠 What We’re Looking For

Proven leadership experience in an underground mining environment

Sound understanding of modern underground mining and copper operations

NSW Mine Supervisor Certificate

Strong communication, planning, and incident response skills
