The Sensory Gym - Blue Mountains/Hawkesbury/Nepean is a state of the art treatment facility, co-directed by Colleen Hacker and Lynette Burke with a combined experience of over 80 years!

Our practice was established over 20 years ago, and many practices have modelled their intervention and physical facility on us in this time. Our practice is based on supporting passionate therapists who wish to grow in their careers through embracing life-long learning and recognizing that therapy is both an art and a science.

The role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a caring and passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Working directly with families and children, you will support, treat and educate to help change the lives of our clients.

Duties

Assessment and treatment of children

Direct work with families

Provide support and education to families

Collaboration with professional colleagues

Skills and requirements

Current valid AHPRA registration

Experience in a similar role (desirable)

Strong time management skills

Proactive initiative

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
