About the Role
The Procurement Specialist: Property and Facilities plays a pivotal role in supporting the Procurement and Property and Facilities teams across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle. They are responsible for performing tasks that include but are not limited to:
- leading contract lifecycle management from sourcing to expiry or renewal
- planning and executing end-to-end sourcing and tendering processes across Hard and Soft Facilities Management categories, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, probity standards, and value-for-money principles
- drafting, negotiating, and implementing contracts that meet operational needs and manage risk and embedding clear service levels, performance metrics and compliance requirements
- contributing to the development and implementation of category management strategies that reflect organisational priorities, market insights, and total cost of ownership considerations
- ensuring compliance with procurement policies, legislative requirements, and probity standards in contractual engagements

About You
The successful candidate will also possess the following:
- undergraduate degree in Property, Procurement, Law or equivalent experience
- demonstrated success in a Facilities management, procurement, sourcing or contract management role
- demonstrated experience in leading a working group to achieve targeted outcomes
- ability to prepare complex procurement and technical documents and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
- experience in developing business cases and presentations for an executive audience
- experience in developing contractor performance management frameworks
- experience in property management or property maintenance environment
- technical proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
- willingness to respect, support, and uphold the mission, ethos, and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of SCS.
