About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team.

Key duties will include:

• Designing, implementing, maintaining and documenting secure network solutions
  
• Providing high-quality technical support and advice to multiple clients
  
• Managing a range of technologies including networking, cloud, firewalls, WiFi, virtualisation and more
  
• Monitoring and improving network performance
  
• Providing technical guidance within the Digital61, partner and vendor ecosystems
  
• Supporting operational activities including on-call requirements and after-hours work
  
• Working on projects within government environments
  

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Holds current (NV1 Clearance preferred, Baseline Acceptable)
  
• Is an Australian Citizen/ Permanent resident
  
• Has demonstrated experience with routers, switches, firewalls and wireless networks
  
• Can monitor and troubleshoot networks for optimal performance
  
• Possesses strong communication verbal and written, documentation and problem-solving skills
  
• Understands how broad ICT systems integrate (Cloud, Windows OS, Storage, Virtualisation etc.)
  

Relevant Vendor Certifications and ITIL Foundation is highly desirable but not essential.
