This is a full-time remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home anywhere in Australia.

The Opportunity

This is your chance to play a central role in future-proofing operations across 36 regional sites. You’ll lead the technical delivery of a high-impact server migration and remediation program, decommissioning legacy systems and enabling a modern, centralised IT environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the technical execution of a region-wide server migration and decommissioning program.
• Audit and document approximately 155 legacy physical and virtual servers across 30+ locations.
• Define and build target-state architecture within a managed Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) data centre.
• Deliver secure, efficient, and modern server environments to replace out-of-support systems.
• Collaborate closely with a Project Manager and Junior Sys Admin to deliver program milestones.
• Troubleshoot, test, and validate critical systems through each migration phase.
• Support the establishment of centralised clusters for core infrastructure services.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, configuration templates, and operating procedures.

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Infrastructure Support roles
• Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server technologies (2008–2022)
• Experience leading large-scale migration or infrastructure projects across multi-site environments.
• Working knowledge of IaaS/cloud platforms such as Azure
• Familiarity with network/server discovery tools and migration utilities
• Strong documentation skills, including technical procedures and work breakdown structures
