About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team at the Hampden Hotel in Camperdown, Victoria. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bustling bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient bar operations. What you'll be doing

Managing and leading a team of talented bartenders and bar staff

Developing and implementing effective bar policies, procedures and training programs

Ensuring high standards of product knowledge, service and presentation among bar staff

Creating and implementing innovative cocktail and beverage menus to drive customer engagement

Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment for the bar team

Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the hotel

Ensuring full compliance with all relevant liquor licensing and health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar senior bar/beverage role within the hospitality industry

Thorough knowledge of bar operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and staff supervision

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
