About the Role

This full-time Branch Manager role at Grace Worldwide (Australia) Pty Ltd in West Footscray, VIC, offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team and drive the success of a key location within a growing national logistics company. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services to customers.

What you'll be doing

Manage and lead a team of logistics coordinators, drivers and warehouse personnel to achieve operational and financial targets

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including inventory management, dispatch scheduling, and customer service

Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction

Analyse branch performance data and identify opportunities for process improvements

Foster a positive work culture and ensure adherence to company policies and safety protocols

Collaborate with the Regional Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities

Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role within the logistics or transport industry

Strong operational and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

Thorough understanding of logistics operations, including inventory management, dispatch, and customer service

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management or a related field
