Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is a not-for-profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) delivering holistic primary healthcare across East Arnhem Land. The Role:
They are seeking a Chief Operations Officer to lead their Asset Management, ICT, and strategic project implementation functions. Reporting to the CEO and part of the senior leadership team, this role is pivotal in driving best-practice systems and interdepartmental collaboration that underpins their mission.
As Miwatj Health continues to grow in scale and complexity – including expanding NDIS programs, domestic violence prevention, and remote community health services – they require a strategic leader to ensure operational excellence and modern systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead organisation-wide asset management and centralised procurement systems.
Oversee delivery of ICT services, systems strategy, and outsourced provider relationships.
Manage communications and marketing strategy in alignment with business goals.
Deliver and project-manage key strategic initiatives across ICT, asset integration, and policy.
Contribute as a senior leader across the organisation and build cross-functional collaboration.
Key Skills & Experience:
Leadership experience in ICT and/or asset management at strategic level.
Demonstrated success in project management and organisational change.
Strong commitment to Aboriginal community control and understanding of ACCO sector.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, especially in cross-cultural contexts.
Relevant qualifications in Business, ICT, Law or similar; postgrad highly regarded.
Ability to travel across East Arnhem Land and a current manual driver’s licence.
