Our client is a well-respected manufacturer of prefabricated steel frames and trusses based in the Southern Highlands, servicing major construction projects across NSW and ACT. They’re seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join their team, with primary delivery runs between Sydney and Canberra. You will support yard operations and delivery prep, with forklift and Hiab crane training on offer.

Rate of Pay: $40.00 p/h + overtime + meal and crane allowances

Location: Mittagong NSW surrounds

Standard Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of steel frames and trusses
• Conduct daily truck inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Assist Yard hands with loading, securing, and unloading materials using a forklift or Hiab crane (if licensed)
• Communicate professionally with site teams and clients at delivery points
• Maintain company logbook and stock sheets

Essential Criteria

• Valid HR truck licence and driving experience
• Sound knowledge of Australian road legislation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Willingness to assist across yard operations when needed
• Physically fit for manual handling
• Forklift licence (LF) desirable
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
