We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Payments/Institutional Banking Lead and Client Engagement Partner in Sydney OR Melbourne to lead the growth of our consulting business in this sector. This role is pivotal in leveraging existing and emerging capabilities, creating new strategic growth areas, and delivering significant profitable growth.
This role requires leveraging existing capabilities, developing new strategic areas, and driving significant profitable growth.
You will be responsible for defining sound business growth strategies, building deep industry relationships, identifying and defining differentiated services and solutions (including FinTechs), ensuring customer value, and enhancing market positioning. A proactive sales approach is essential to generate consulting business and drive multimillion-dollar engagements.
About You
You will bring extensive management consulting expertise with demonstrated experience working with top professional service firms in Australia. Expertise in Payments and Institutional Banking in Australia is essential, including areas like Institutional Banking Transformation, Institutional Lending Transformation, Next Generation Digital Banking, Payments transformation (Real time/Legacy), and Regulatory changes.
In-house Payments or Institutional Banking experience is an advantage.
Essential experience includes:
- Deep expertise in the Australian Payments and Institutional Banking sector.
- Proven success in generating and winning strategic consulting sales, driving multimillion-dollar engagements.
- Experience building and managing C-suite relationships and leveraging strategic partnerships.
- Ability to identify, consult on, and shape complex transformation propositions using core and disruptive technologies.
- Delivery and program expertise, including handling multi-shore consulting projects.
- Strong structured problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience leading and developing talent.
- Ability to contribute to thought leadership within the industry.
