Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, ranging from small to large components. Responsibilities include pre-machining of fabricated components and post-machining of weldments as well as a wide range of machined components.
Key Responsibilities:
Read, interpret, and machine from workshop drawings with minimal guidance.
Operate all conventional lathes, milling machines, and horizontal borers.
Fit components and ensure they meet quality standards.
Organize and maintain a productive workflow.
Show a strong work ethic and take pride in workmanship.
Requirements:
Trade qualified and certified as a machinist/turner.
Competent in using all conventional lathes, milling machines, and horizontal borers.
Experience in fitting components.
Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings.
Strong organizational skills and consistent productivity.
Preferred Qualifications:
CNC experience is an advantage.
Benefits:
Overtime available, up to 60 hours per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 60 per week
