The Procurement/Inventory Officer is responsible for to work with the sales team with stock demands, procuring inventory overseas and stock location management. They are required to keep the team up to date with incoming items and any delays.
This is an opportunity to take the next step in your career in the Procurement business area towards a fullly experience Supply Chain Manager
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Stock Forecasting in Netstock
Stock and Warehouse Supplies Procurement
Manage Inventory request, forecasts and demands from customer
Stock transfers between locations including New Zealand
Incoming and stock control of 3PL Warehouses
Importing Process
Create and Maintain inventory NetSuite records excluding marketing/website fields and Sell Prices
Manage Supplier Relationships and implement new Suppliers
Stock variances/discrepancies
Stocktake reconciliation and enter into NetSuite
Credit Claims on suppliers – damaged goods, short supply, pricing, etc.
Book incoming and transfer freight
Enter import freight invoices into NetSuite
Manage product quality rejects
Managing the Import Payments Register and requests for payment
Manage consignment stock forecasting and replenishment
Coordinate Orders and Logistics for Marketing
Review weekly Sales Order reports for stock issues and coordinate with Customer Service.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in purchasing and inventory management
Experience in forecasting
Negotiation skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to our processes
Process driven person with a high level of accuracy in data entry and attention to detail
Someone who rises to the challenge to sort issues
Quick on their feet to adjust to delays, issues, etc
An ability to work well under pressure
Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of people
Advanced computer skills including the use of CRM and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
Netsuite skills would be preferred but not essential
