About the role

Sydney Helicopters is seeking a skilled and experienced Manager of Inventory and Procurement to join our team in Castlereagh, NSW. As a key member of our Maintenance and Engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our inventory management and procurement processes. This full-time role is essential in supporting the maintenance of our aircraft in a timely and efficient manner.

What you'll be doing

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, core and warranty procssing and sourcing and maintaining supplier relationships

Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and optimisation to ensure the right parts and materials are available when needed

Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems and procedures to minimise waste and maximise efficiency

Analyse data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements

Identify and capitalise on opportunities to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies

Working closely with the Chief Engineer Aviation Maintenance to create aircraft workpacks for periodic and scheduled maintnenance

What we're looking for

Significant experience (8+ years) in a similar procurement and inventory management role, preferably within the aviaition, transport or logistics industries

Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, optimisation, and control systems

Proven track record of implementing efficient and cost-effective procurement strategies

Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the organisation

Proficient in the use of relevant procurement and inventory management software and technologies, familiarity with Aerotrack software program is desirteable
