THE ROLE

The Manager, Community Partnerships, Mallee Area, is responsible for driving a range of innovative, partnership-based initiatives to improve outcomes for our communities. The vision is to promote connected and strong communities through improving equity, access, safety, and culture. The purpose of the team is to work in partnership with communities and stakeholders, to strengthen capacity, build equitable access, and improve responsiveness at place. This is achieved through the following functions:

  • Develop and deliver place-based initiatives that strengthen resilience, build wellness and connect and empower communities.
  • Strengthen the capacity of government, partners, the sector and communities to improve outcomes and access to services.
  • Improve equitable outcomes for communities through collaboration and partnerships, and enhanced client voice.
  • Through collaboration and partnerships, integrate and coordinate government policy and commitments at place.
  • Gathering and sharing community intelligence on local needs to inform policy and funding decisions.
  • Demonstrate how the actions of this role result in good outcomes for local communities and aligns to the Mallee Area strategic priorities.
  • Influence the service system to advance equitable access and earlier intervention for vulnerable communities.
