THE ROLE

The Project Manager plays a key role in delivering the Energy Efficiency in Social Housing Program, a transformative initiative supporting the Victorian Government's Gas Substitution Strategy. By helping to electrify 11,000 homes and complete over 50,000 upgrades energy efficient upgrades, this role contributes to reducing social housing renters' cost of living, improving the comfort and health of their homes, and shaping a more sustainable future.

As part of an innovative and collaborative team, the Project Manager will tackle new challenges, manage contractor compliance, and ensure that every home upgraded under the program meets high standards of quality and efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on communities across Victoria while working on a first-of-its-kind initiative.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • With the guidance of the Senior Project Manager, manage contractors to ensure they meet their deliverables, adhering to project timelines, quality standards, and scope requirements.
  • Implement and monitor the quality assurance and quality control measures to maintain high standards of project delivery.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of contractor work to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
