About the Opportunity
As our Logistics Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in leading our warehouse and transport operations. Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you’ll coordinate daily logistics activities and supervise a small team — all while preparing for your next step into management.
Key responsibilities include:
Allocating daily team duties via toolbox meetings
Overseeing dispatch, receivals, and accurate documentation
Operating forklifts (including grab forklifts for wool handling)
Liaising with transport providers to ensure timely deliveries
Conducting cycle counts, inventory checks, and reconciliation
Promoting safe work practices and mentoring team members
What You’ll Bring
Valid forklift licence (minimum 4-tonne)
Experience in logistics, warehouse, or dispatch coordination
Strong leadership, communication, and team supervision skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Talman software experience is a plus
Ability to adapt, prioritise, and work hands-on in a dynamic environment
Desirable qualifications and experience:
Certificate IV in Warehousing or Logistics
Exposure to the wool industry or agricultural supply chains
