Posted 9 days ago
Our Store Managers lead teams of 10 – 40 people (depending on store size) in a hands-on role that involves coaching and leading their store team while also making sure the team provides exceptional customer service at all times.
You will manage team members across three key departments: the despatch, the office and the sales floor. With so many unique personalities and skill sets, you’ll need to be able to build strong relationships in your team, and tailor your approach to training and mentoring to each individual.
You’ll need to lead by example and be passionate about fostering an inclusive and positive culture. You’ll be able to think outside the box and bring new ideas into your store.
You will focus on continuous improvement in your store, by looking at the data (interpreting and delivering financial reports and metrics), keeping the showroom and despatch areas presentable at all times (following visual merchandising guidelines and general tidiness) and support your team to reach their best (through coaching, training and feedback).
Safety is paramount at Amart. As a Manager you are expected to champion the importance of working safely at all times. You will contribute to the safety management system by identifying hazards and engaging with the Safety Advisor to review safe work procedures. You are responsible for ensuring your team are trained in all applicable safe work procedures and that they adhere to these at all times.
This isn’t an office-based desk role. This is a hands-on role for leaders full of energy and enthusiasm.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a leader who is passionate about building and inspiring a high performing team, has strong operational and retail experience, is focused on exceeding customer expectations, with an ability to hit financial targets.
We believe that without passion, nothing great will be achieved. You will bring your wealth of experience and passion for retail to your team to inspire them to deliver exceptional customer service.
You will need to have flexibility with your roster and have availability across all seven days.
