Position Overview

Viewscape is a 44 year old Australian manufacturer and wholesaler of custom made window furnishings based in Bayswater, Victoria. We set the industry benchmark in quality and customer service, and training our reseller partners. Viewscape is excited to announce a newly created role for a Customer Experience Team Member & Trainer.

This pivotal position will support the Customer Experience Manager in delivering exceptional service to our clients. The role encompasses: delivering training programs for our staff and our reseller partners around Australia; solving field problems for commercial and other projects; running reports; customer sales order entry; and serving as a backup to the customer experience liaison for our key customers. Additional tasks may be required by the business.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience Manager Assistant / Backup

Assist the Customer Experience Manager with day-to-day tasks to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient order entry by the team.

Serve as a backup for order entry, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and timely.

Training

Deliver training programs for Viewscape staff, run video and in-person training for Spotlight consultants and new Viewscape reseller partners.

Manage the Installer Accreditation program.

Adress order queries with customers to ensure alignment of order to customer expectation and orders are accurately entered.

Field Problem Solving / Quoting / Measuring / Installations

Address and resolve issues in the field, particularly for commercial window furnishings' jobs and new client projects with unique challenges.

Provide accurate quotes and measurements for commercial projects in collaboration with the Sales Manager.

Support customers and Viewscape personnel as required.

Outbound Sales Calls

Conduct outbound sales calls to existing customers who spend less than $20,000 per annum to encourage increased spend and engagement with Viewscape products and services.

Cold call potential new leads from the office to generate opportunities for the BDMs.

Qualifications and Skills

Extensive experience in selling, measuring, and ideally installing window furnishings. A minimum of 5 years in the Window Furnishings Industry is essential.

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working as a key stakeholder across multiple departments.

Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.

Ability to handle sales calls and drive customer engagement with a friendly disposition.

Proficient computer skills.

Work Environment

The role is primarily office-based at Viewscape's Bayswater premises but may occasionally involve working in field environments.

Flexibility to travel to various project sites and interact with clients in different settings is required. Fuel costs will be reimbursed as necessary.

Reporting Structure

The Customer Experience Team Member & Trainer reports directly to the Customer Experience Manager and collaborates closely with the Sales Manager.
