Multiple APS4 Contact Service Officers for a Federal Government Department.

● Full Time Hours, Monday - Friday

Successful applicants will be high performing, dynamic, proactive and motivated people who can collaborate seamlessly across Contact Centre operations.

Contact Service Officers will:

● Call Centre; customer service, including provision of guidance, support and advice
● Assess and manage routine and non-routine inquiries to resolve issues
● Assess the adequacy and quality of applications from the Public
● Assist with funding and claim enquiries; providing feedback upon legislative requirements
● Work flexibly in a rotating roster environment that includes scheduled breaks, structured hours and assigned tasks
● Work with peers and internal stakeholders to achieve KPIs at both the branch and individual level

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
● Demonstrated experience in a Contact Centre or fast paced Customer Service Government role
● Strong customer service and communication skills
● Ability to work autonomously, navigate complex information and use sound judgement in making decisions
● Strong digital literacy including the ability to navigate across multiple IT platforms in real time and type proficiently
● Communication skills to interpret complex information, tailor messaging and resolve issues
(web chat skills and knowledge highly regarded)
● A commitment to demonstrating behaviours in line with the APS values and Code of Conduct.
