Qualifications & Experience

Completed Bachelors or Masters of Speech Pathology degree.

Experience working with the 2-18-year age range will be preferred.

Working with Children Check and National Police check.

Driver's license and access to a car (for school and home visits).

Speech Language Pathologist: Must be a member of Speech Pathology Australia and commitment to Speech Pathology Australia’s Code of Ethics

Tasks & Responsibilities

Working in the clinic as well as conducting home and school visits however most of the clients are clinic based.

Conducting assessments, providing intervention, writing reports, and parent training.

School work involves assessments, providing school and parental feedback and completing reports and funding applications where required, therapy and teacher advice.

Liaison with parents, teachers, support workers and other Allied Health professionals to ensure an informed service delivery.

Adherence to evidence-based practice within planning and delivery of intervention and assessments.

Supervision and training of therapy assistants and graduate speech pathologists as required.

Senior Speech Pathologist: $105,000 - $120,000 + Super

Speech Pathologist: $100,000 and above + super

Signing bonus: $2000 for full time and $1000 for part time

Continuous Professional Development will be provided by the company ($1500 per year) for fulltime position and $750 for part time position.

Contract

Flexible working hours/choose your own hours- Mostly clinic based paediatric clients and complete admin support

$120-$140 per hour depending on experience.
