The Roles

We are looking for two qualified and experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team at CPH Mining & Civil to maintain our large, modern fleet of construction plant to the highest standards! The roles will be based in our Moranbah workshop and across various mine-sites as required. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing heavy mining equipment (mostly Cat).

With a fleet of over 100 machine and a team of more than 120 employees, CPH Mining & Civil continues to support mining and civil infrastructure projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

· Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on the mobile fleet across various mine sites

· Carrying out repairs both in the field and workshop.

· Perform inspections to determine condition and suitability to return to service.

· Complete preventative maintenance such as inspections, servicing and adjustments.

· Conduct breakdown related maintenance such as troubleshooting, repairs and replacements.

· Troubleshoot mechanical issues

· Ensure all repairs and maintenance are carried out safely and efficiently

· Work collaboratively with the CPH team, to minimise downtime

· Maintain compliance with site-specific regulations and environmental standards

· Communicate effectively with incoming/ outcoming crews

· Complete maintenance records and inspection checklists

Requirements:

· Australian Recognised Trade Certificate

· Experience with modern diesel engines and diagnostics essential

· HR Driver’s Licence

· Ability to work in a team or independently

· Strong commitment to safety

· Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical an advantage
