Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week)

Nursing - Aged Care (Healthcare & Medical)

Salary ranges from $82K- 102K Per year.

About the Role

We are seeking registered nurses to join our dedicated team at Glaica House. You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessment
• Formulating and reviewing resident plans of care with the primary aim of providing optimal care and quality of life
• Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes
• Liaising with other members of the care team, to identify resident care needs, plan interventions and review outcomes of care
• Liaising with the resident of resident representative regarding concerns or changes in health or care needs including consultation throughout the care planning process.
• Maintaining accurately and legally appropriate documentation of clinical care assessments, clinical incidents and care services
• Identify, assess, manage and document clinical risk
• Maintain clinical care evidence-based practice
• Medicine management, including delegation, to ensure the safe and correct administration of medication to the resident.

About you

To be successful in the role you have will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current CPR Certificate
• The right to work in Australia
• Current National Police Check
• An understanding of the ageing process
• A comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly to age related health issues
• Understanding of the Aged Care Standards and Charter of Aged Care Rights
• Understanding and commitment to continuous quality improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage professional, appropriate relationships with residents and/or families/representatives
• Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents and their families/representatives
• Leadership skills
• Analytical and conceptual skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Adaptability and commitment to change management
• Computer Literacy
