About the role

As a Sales Assistant at Casa Monde Lighting in Sandy Bay, TAS 7005, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to the success of this leading lighting outlet. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining store presentation, and supporting the broader retail team. This role is 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering product inquiries, making recommendations from our large product range, quoting projects and maintain extensive product knowledge.

Actively replenishing and maintaining store displays to ensure a visually appealing and organised shopping environment

Processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately

Collaborating with the team to ensure store operations run smoothly

Participating in inventory management and stock control tasks

Adhering to company policies and procedures to uphold brand standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent service. Experience in the lighting industry will be highly regarded.

Good computer skills and the ability to understand building plans.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail

A passion for home decor and design, with the ability to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with customers

A team-oriented approach and the willingness to assist colleagues as needed
