We’re partnering with a global financial technology company with a strong footprint in the US, UK, Asia and Australia. Their platform powers trading operations for hundreds of banks, brokers and hedge funds worldwide — and they’re now modernising one of their core internal systems into a customer-facing product.

As part of this evolution, we’re looking for a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to help drive both enhancements to the current system and the build-out of a brand new web-based interface. You'll be working on high-performance, real-time systems with a clear path to production, alongside a smart, tight-knit engineering team.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading backend development using C# and ASP.NET Core;
• Building new client-facing UIs with React, Redux, HTML, and CSS;
• Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver secure, scalable solutions;
• Working autonomously in a modern, agile environment; and
• Designing and consuming REST APIs, with a focus on clean, performant code.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience across .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and frontend frameworks (React, Redux);
• Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, LESS, and responsive design;
• Solid experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and scalable architecture;
• Attention to detail, clean coding standards, and ability to work with minimal oversight; and
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in financial trading or capital markets;
• Exposure to C++ or additional backend languages;
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure;
• Experience with real-time tech (SignalR, WebSockets); and
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and version control systems.

Location: Canberra

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Canberra. Applicants must already reside in the region or be open to relocating.

Salary $150,000 plus super and bonus.
