About the role:
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Spatial Systems Administrator to join our team during an exciting period of technological transformation. In this role, you will provide specialist technical skills in system administration, including software installation and configuration in a Windows Server environment. You'll ensure documentation of platforms and associated applications, including configuration, information management procedures, and user guides are developed and maintained.
Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and partnerships with clients and service providers, both internal and external to the department. You'll prepare a range of written materials, such as business requirements, briefing notes, application improvement/extension opportunities, and project documentation.
To ensure platform supportability, you will provide platform support, undertake platform testing, support platform improvement, plan platform testing, and encourage effective information management. Other duties may be assigned as directed and required.
What we're looking for:
Although not mandatory, experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
• ArcGIS Portal Administration
• ArcGIS Server
• ArcGIS Pro
• Python (especially ArcPy)
• PostgreSQL Database Administration
