About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team at Gumnut Kindergarten in Narrabeen located behind the Church grounds, NSW.
This is a Part Time position, in a Non for Profit Organisation offering the opportunity to contribute to the learning and development of young children in a nurturing and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and the 8 ways of Learning.

Fostering a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for children aged 3-5 years

Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor learning experiences

Building strong relationships with children, families and the wider community

Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the continuous improvement of our service.

Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in your care

Being apart of innovative excursions and the planning process.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification, could be over 50% certified and working towards.

Eligibility for registration as an Early Childhood Teacher with NESSA Accreditation or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering high-quality, play-based learning programs

Strong understanding of child development and the ability to cater for individual needs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible outcomes for children
