Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills with major split system and ducted brands such as Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin. While the primary responsibility is servicing, occasional installation jobs will be required, which consist of mainly replacements on condemned units. Knowledge of package units, evaporative coolers, and gas heaters is a plus.

Hourly Rates:

Air Conditioning Technician: $55 – $60 per hour

Also accepting applications from 2nd and 3rd year apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair various HVAC systems, including split systems and ducted units.

Perform installations of air conditioning units as needed.

Maintain and service package units, evaporative coolers, and gas heaters. (Advantageous not essential)

Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and queries.

Provide quotations to the service manager for repairs and follow up works.

Requirements:

Full Refrigerant Handling License.

Disconnect/Reconnect License.

Working with Children License or the ability to obtain it.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Excellent customer service abilities.

Dual trade qualifications (Air Conditioning and Electrician) or a VBA License are advantageous but not essential and will attract a higher hourly rate.
