Senior Chiller Service Technician – Applied HVAC

Melbourne Area | $60–$62/hr + Super + Vehicle + OT

Full-time | 7:00am–3:00pm | Industrial Sites | Overtime + Callout

We’re working with a leading HVAC provider that’s expanding their Chiller Division across Melbourne. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Senior Chiller Technician to take ownership of high-profile industrial contracts.

The Role

• Hands-on servicing, fault-finding, maintenance and repair of large chillers

• Work on premium applied HVAC systems

• Industrial site coverage only – no domestic or light commercial

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm

• Participate in a regular callout roster

• Collaborate with a VIC-based team of senior techs, apprentices and support staff

• Frequent OT available – weekend rates + travel time paid

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 10 years of HVAC experience, focused on chillers

• Strong technical skills across service, diagnostics, and minor commissioning

• Ability to work independently and confidently on complex systems

• Professional, reliable, and committed to high standards on site

• Open to mentoring junior techs or stepping into a leadership path

Requirements

• Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

• ARCtick (Refrigerant Handling Licence)

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Applied/industrial HVAC background essential

• Must be comfortable with frequent OT and site callouts
