About the role

We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Hand to join our team at the Red Retail Group in Breakfast Point, NSW. As a casual Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, and supporting our talented culinary team.

With a focus on using your excellent knife skills, you will contribute to the efficient and high-quality delivery of our delicious menu items. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your experience in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.

What you'll be doing

Assist with the preparation of fresh ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and dicing a variety of produce

Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked kitchen environment

Ensure all kitchen equipment and surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitised

Support the kitchen team in completing tasks and meeting service deadlines

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards

Collaborate with the team to optimise workflow and efficiency

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role

Exceptional knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain a clean and organised work environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team

A passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
