About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven and tech-savvy Broker Systems Trainer to join a dynamic general insurance group during a period of significant digital transformation. You will play a key role in supporting the successful rollout and adoption of a new Broker Management System, working closely with teams across Australia.
This role is ideal for someone with a professional background in general insurance, preferably from a broking environment, who enjoys empowering others through training and helping teams get the best from their systems. A great opportunity for an experienced broker ready to take their career in a new direction—empowering others through training and enabling long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging training programs for the Broker Management System and integrated tools
- Create tailored training resources, including manuals, guides, and videos
- Facilitate training sessions through a mix of in-person, virtual, and self-paced formats
- Act as a systems champion and provide support to users post-implementation
- Work with stakeholders across various business units to ensure training aligns with operational needs
- Assist in system testing, user feedback, and continuous improvement
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness and user adoption
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of General Insurance is essential; ideally with broking experience
- Experience as a trainer, systems super user, or application champion is highly regarded – are you the ‘go-to’ tech expert on your team?
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence in running group sessions and one-on-one coaching (both in person and online)
- Ability to create clear, engaging training materials for a range of learning styles
- Organised, proactive, and able to work well in a fast-paced or project environment
- Comfortable with occasional interstate travel as required
