About the role

This part-time Bakery Assistant, Barista, Customer Service & Stock Control position at Dean Street Bakery in Frenchville QLD 4701 provides an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual to be part of a dynamic hospitality team. You will be responsible for a range of duties including serving customers, preparing beverages, managing stock levels, and supporting the overall operations of the bakery.

What you'll be doing

Providing excellent customer service to all patrons, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience

Preparing and serving a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

Maintaining stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed

Assisting with the preparation and presentation of bakery items

Ensuring the bakery and service areas are clean, well-organised, and adhering to health and safety standards

Supporting the wider team as needed to contribute to the smooth running of the bakery

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality or retail industry

Passion for providing exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in the food and beverage industry

Barista skills and knowledge of coffee preparation techniques

Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle a variety of responsibilities

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours, including weekends and public holidays
