About the role

Mayflower, a leading provider of aged care and disability services, is seeking Domestic Assistants and Personal Care Assistants to join our team in the North and East suburbs of Melbourne. This role will involve providing in-home care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and personal care

Providing companionship and social interaction to help reduce isolation and loneliness

Reporting any changes in client's health or wellbeing to the care coordination team

Ensuring a high standard of care and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience in aged care, disability support or a similar role

A caring, empathetic and patient approach when working with vulnerable clients

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care

A current Victorian driver's licence and reliable vehicle

A police check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
