🔍 About the Role:

As a Maintenance Fitter & Turner, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal production and safety. This is a hands-on position ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment

Operate lathes, milling machines, and other tools for precision machining

Respond to breakdowns and complete urgent repairs efficiently

Conduct fault finding and diagnostics to minimize downtime

Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards

Maintain accurate records of work completed

🛠️ Requirements:

Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner (Certificate III or equivalent)

Proven experience in a similar maintenance role

Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed

🎯 Desirable:

Experience in Manufacturing.

Forklift or EWP license

Welding and fabrication skills
