About the role

Bendigo Air and Hydraulics is seeking a skilled Fitter and Turner to join our dynamic team in Bendigo, Victoria. As a Fitter and Turner, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery. What you'll be doing

Performing maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment including mining and quarrying plant and equipment

Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, and implementing effective solutions

Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to carry out complex fitting and turning tasks

Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Collaborating with team members to optimise workflow and improve efficiency

Maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications, eg. Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or a related trade

Proven experience in a similar Fitter and Turner role, preferably within the industrial sector

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
