A.I. Inspection is a privately owned, NATA Accredited laboratory specialising in Non-Destructive Testing, Pipeline inspection services, Lifting Equipment inspection, Welding inspections and pressure vessel inspections.

Primarily our work will be locally based in Toowoomba Qld area with some clients a few hours’ drive away for remote works in the Roma region.

Due to our upcoming expansions throughout Toowoomba and Roma Queensland, A.I. Inspection are seeking a fulltime qualified NDT Technician wishing to Relocate or Join our Toowoomba facility in Queensland for a permanent ,long term residential position. The position will also involve work in the Roma region with Accommodation supplied on a need be basis.

The Position:

Permanent Fulltime position of 38 hours per week (Minimum), Monday to Friday with penalty rates and allowances where applicable (some weekend or away work required at times)

Based in Toowoomba Qld applicants must either be located in Toowoomba or willing to relocate to Toowoomba and travel to Roma region when required to assist the Roma Facility

This is a residential Role.

Renumeration

Permanent Position with a competitive salary + Super + Overtime + Laptop + Phone

Base Salary Between $85,000 and $105,000 depending on skills, qualifications and experience

Position requirements

NDT- All applicants must have Australian recognised certifications- Required methods include RT,MT,PT (desirable)and UT2 (desirable) (AINDT or PCN)

Qld Radiation user licence- Required

Must have Australian working rights

Demonstrated ability to work both in a team and autonomously without supervision

Shows initiative in the workplace and an affirmative approach to all tasks

Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with client and foster new relationships

Exceptional attention to detail and can prepare and compile reports and raw data information

Always follow and adhere to safety procedures and requirements

Good understanding of NATA requirements and standards of work

Two(2) or more years of experience in a similar position
