THE ROLE:
You will ensure the quality and reliability of data to support decision-making, reporting, and organisational objectives. Key responsibilities include supporting data governance processes, maintaining reporting schedules, investigating data issues and providing advice on reporting requirements.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Support the implementation of data governance practices to ensure that data used in strategic decision making, operational objectives, investigations and business cases is at the highest quality and appropriately risk managed.
• Maintain a schedule of regular reporting including the update of key performance indicators to ensure the on-time delivery of business intelligence and management information to senior management.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of processes and documentation to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data, in accordance with established governance frameworks.
• Capture and investigate data issues and undertake assessment of business system changes to evaluate and recommend options for mitigating impacts to data and improving data sources.
• Review business requirement specifications and provide advice to project teams regarding reporting requirements and benefits realisation plans to ensure divisional reporting needs and project outcomes are met.

With a collaborative mindset, you thrive in team environments, leveraging self-awareness to foster effectiveness and deliver organisational objectives. Your ability to manage projects independently or as part of a team ensures timely and successful outcomes.
A degree or diploma qualification from a recognised tertiary institution in a discipline that has a significant quantitative/data analysis component such as mathematics, engineering, science, information technology or equivalent is highly desirable.
MANDATORY CONDITIONS:
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
