I'm working with a major civil contractor who is looking for experienced civil labourers, to work on their sub-division sites primarily in and around the Ipswich area.

THE ROLE

• Taking measurements and calculating levels
• Assisting subcontractors – concreting pits, drainage, stormwater, etc
• Digging trenches and installing electrical & NBN conduits
• Operating machines – Roller, Loader, Moxy & more **must have ticket
• Site setup and clean up – fencing, flagging, moving materials
• Spotting and working around machines

THE PAY & BENEFITS

• $34 – 36 p/h – rate will depend on experience
• $21.94 p/d travel allowance
• $18.51 p/d meal allowance **applicable after 9.5 hours worked
• Penalty rates for all overtime worked – regular overtime worked, 55hrs+ with no rain
• FREE PPE – Premium gear including Boots & Jacket
• Long term, consistent work with same employer on the same job site

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• White card
• Australian Driver’s License and own transport
• Previous civil labouring experience preferred although all people will be considered
• Able to pass D&A testing
• Plant and machine tickets **desirable
