About the role

C & S LAW' are seeking a talented Solicitor (Family Law) to join their team in Mill Park, VIC. As a Family Law Solicitor, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a wide range of family law matters. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

Advising clients on all aspects of family law, including divorce, parenting , property settlements and financial agreements

Preparing and drafting legal documents such as court applications, affidavits and financial statements

Representing clients in court proceedings, including mediations, hearings and trials

Conducting legal research and analysis to support the provision of high-quality advice

Maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional customer service

Collaborating with the wider legal team to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients

What we're looking for

Admitted as a Solicitor in Victoria with 2+ years of post-admission experience in family law

Demonstrated expertise in family law, with a strong understanding of the relevant legislation and case law

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients

Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to manage a varied caseload

Committed to providing exceptional client service and achieving the best possible outcomes

A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, collegial environment
