About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an APS5 ICT Procurement Officer to join a federal government ICT procurement team. This role is ideal for someone with strong procurement knowledge, contract management experience, and familiarity with ICT procurement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer ICT-related procurements, ensuring alignment with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
  
• Provides procurement advice to stakeholders, supporting compliance and strategic purchasing decisions.
  
• Assist in contract negotiations, supplier management, and procurement reporting.
  
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks to uphold best practices.
  
• Work collaboratively within a high-performing team, contributing to efficiency and continuous improvement.
  

Key Requirements

• Federal government procurement experience (minimum 2 years preferred).
  
• Strong understanding of ICT procurement frameworks and Whole-of-Government (WOG) contracts.
  
• Ability to manage procurement compliance, risk assessment, and contract administration.
  
• Baseline Security Clearance (mandatory).
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
