About the role

Skye Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Capalaba, Queensland. As our Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development within our dynamic and patient-focused practice.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing equipment, instruments, and materials
• Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
• Providing chairside assistance to dentists, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring a positive patient experience
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Performing general administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory

What we're looking for

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a similar clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
• Comfortable working as part of a team, as well as independently
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• A genuine passion for healthcare and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
