About the Role
The Network and Infrastructure Division (N&I) of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is responsible for the management and maintenance of the PTA’s railway network infrastructure. As part of the N&I Contract Management Team, this key role focuses on the management of contracts and procurements for the various Branches within the Division, delivering strategic advice and support to key stakeholders to ensure operational objectives are met.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing a diverse portfolio of contracts and procurements for the delivery of services, goods and works for the N&I Division.
Providing strategic contract management and procurement advice and support to Branch Managers and key internal stakeholders.
Managing the procurement lifecycle, including development of request documentation, risk management, performance reporting and contract management.
Monitoring the financial performance of contracts to ensure contract spend is within budget and managed effectively.
Driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the N&I Contract Management Team.
Developing and maintaining effective business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring contractual compliance to PTA and State Government policies, standards and procedures.
About You
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
Proven experience managing the full procurement lifecycle, with a strong focus on contract management and administration.
Sound knowledge and/or experience with government procurement processes, policies, and contracting frameworks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to shared goals.
Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
