Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurse with previous Breast Care Nursing experience to work in the Medical Day Treatment Unit at Young.

Key responsibilities include:
- Application of advanced breast cancer knowledge and skills
- Care coordination for people diagnosed with breast cancer
- Promotion of interdisciplinary breast care
- Patient focused supportive care
- Act as a breast cancer resource person
- Satisfy the requirements of the McGrath Foundation
Our team requires someone who has:
- Qualifications in cancer nursing- Breast care qualification or working towards are highly regarded.
- Proven experience as a registered nurse working with cancer patients and families/carers.
- High-level awareness of applying advanced knowledge of health needs, preferences, and circumstances of women with breast cancer to optimise outcomes across the continuum of care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of theory and recent research relevant to the field of breast cancer nursing.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented approach.
- This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check prior to appointment.
