Forklift Operator/Warehouse Allrounder

Casual position with up to full time hours

Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm

The role

Reporting to the Group Packing Manager and Lead Hand, you will support and assist the warehouse team in all aspects of Warehouse operations to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Key responsibilities:

Safe Forklift operations.

Load and unload trucks.

Pallet movement in/out of storage locations.

Perform quality checks of inward/outward goods.

Sort and distribute stock to the respective work area, ensure adequate stock to meet order requirements.

General cleaning and maintenance of the dispatch/receiving areas and storage locations.

Assist the Packing team in preparing orders.

Assist in machine operations to meet production requirements.

Accurately record receiving/dispatch information in paper and electronic form.

Check and file receipts.

The ideal candidate:

Valid Forklift Licence with demonstrated experience in operating Forklifts.

At least 3 years experience in a fast-paced Warehouse environment, preferably in FMCG.

Picking and packing experience.

Machine operations experience is an advantage, or the interest and ability to learn.

A proven track record of being reliable and punctual.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent numerical skills.

An understanding on how to perform your duties within a quality assurance environment.

Effective time management and proactive approach, especially when managing competing priorities.

Commitment to workplace safety.

Ability to work cohesively and unsupervised in a high-performing team environment.

Availability to commit to 5 days per week.
