Chandler Macleod is working with a dynamic local council in Sydney looking for a passionate Health and Wellbeing Business Partner. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact by promoting mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing across the organisation.

About the Role
You’ll be driving the rollout of the Council’s Mentally Healthy Workplace Strategy and leading a range of health and wellbeing programs. It’s a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll collaborate with People & Culture, Safety, and Workers Compensation teams to build a strong, supportive work environment.

• Coordinate and deliver health and wellbeing initiatives
• Provide advice on psychological safety and mental health at work
• Run wellbeing workshops, training, and employee programs
• Monitor wellbeing data and report on progress
• Maintain resources, policies, and the psychosocial risk dashboard
• Keep up with industry trends and recommend new ideas

About You
You’re someone who’s passionate about creating healthy workplaces and knows how to turn strategy into action.

You will have:

• 4+ years experience in wellbeing, psychological safety, or injury management
• A degree in Psychology or a related field
• Strong stakeholder and project management skills
• Confident analysing data and presenting insights
• Great communicator, both written and verbal

Desirable:

• Experience in local or state government
