Forum Recruitment are proud to partner with a global corporate real estate client. We are seeking an experienced Transaction Manager for a major national account based in their Melbourne headquarters.

The Position

As the Transaction Manager, you will be responsible for strategic lease and license management, advisory, negotiation, and coordination across multiple real estate functions with a strong focus on the industrial and retail sectors.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage lease negotiations, renewals, relocations, and other transactional activities
• Conduct market rent reviews and prepare documentation for internal approvals
• Perform site inspections and oversee make-good obligations
• Monitor and analyse market trends to guide leasing strategies
• Collaborate with projects and facilities teams to deliver cost-effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with all critical lease dates and contractual obligations
• Develop strong relationships within the Retail & Industrial real estate sectors

Key criteria:

• 5+ years' experience in retail or industrial leasing/transaction management
• Strong understanding of the Retail Leases Act and lease documentation
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to interpret retail data
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Experience managing complex real estate processes independently
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
