ABOUT THIS ROLE

Work with our team of waste vehicle operators to effectively supervise daily operational goals as part of the Operations leadership team.

Starting at 5am, you are responsible for the start of day supervision of the driver team, coordinating any unplanned absences, breakdowns and enable resourcing as needed.

The role is a mix of hands-on and office-based with consistent engagement of our driving teams to achieve the desired outcomes on safety, productivity, process, compliance mentoring and training.

You will be working with a safe and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained by our on-site workshop team.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist daily with operations start of day commencement (5am start time)

Regular driving – Front Lift (OHL), Rear Lift, Side Lift & Hook Truck

Be a mentor, help with training of our driver team.

Comply with laws, regulations and requirements including OH&S

Achieve and uphold a high level of customer service within the business

Establish and manage relations with customers, team members and suppliers

Strive for improvement in Operations whilst upholding a high level of safety at all times

ABOUT YOU

HR license and driving experience are essential

LF Fork license - preferable

Experience with working in a team environment, effective communication skills

You are results orientated

Motivate staff effectively and consistently – maintain positive work culture

Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite

Able to successfully satisfy a pre-employment medical
